School Expansion Consultation February & March 2025

Dear Parents

Consultation starts on Tuesday 25th March 2025 on a proposal to change the age range of Rothwell Victoria Junior School (RVJS) to provide places from reception upwards.

The school currently provides places for pupils in years 3, 4, 5 and 6. The council is proposing that the school provides places for pupils from reception to Year 6 to help manage primary school places in the local area. The consultation will run until 17 March and if the proposal was approved it would lead to RVJS accepting infant school pupils in time for the start of the next school year in September 2025.
